Our Legal Pricing Roundtable aims to bring together individuals responsible for pricing to share ideas and experiences, participate in interactive presentations led by guest speakers, and discuss the best practices their firms are implementing. The Roundtable aims to develop leaders in this emerging market and to assist participants in delivering value to their firms. All discussions are confidential to the Roundtable members. The meeting format combines in-person (hybrid) and virtual meetings.

Some topics of interest typically suggested by participants include:

  • Pricing structures (including those from other industries),
  • Negotiation strategies (examples of successful techniques),
  • Methods for determining overhead,
  • Partner training,
  • Pricing team structures,
  • Innovation and technology, and
  • Client perspective.

Peer Networking Opportunities: During each session, attendees can build their professional network. The break-out sessions allow one to meet others in similar roles while sharing ideas, challenges, and approaches. You will learn as much from what works as you do from what does not.

Meeting Format:

  • One hybrid meeting (offering in-person and virtual participation): A full-day meeting with a reception
  • Three virtual meetings: This format allows for participation without the cost of travel
  • Core content-focused meetings: Each meeting will have a primary focus, such as the abovementioned topics. Breakout discussions will be a mix of problem-solving, topic-based, and role-based discussions.
  • Unlimited firm/team member attendance: Each firm’s membership dues permit access to all firm/team members in their geography at each virtual meeting. Firms can join for their region: North America (US and Canada), UK/Europe/EMEA, or Australia, or they can select a global membership covering all their offices.   • Global learning and networking: Each session offers two virtual meeting times to benefit our members and provide international exposure at each session. Members from North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, EMEA, and Australia participate. The LPM Roundtable will continue to hold virtual meetings across regions.  You can share with global LPM leaders, choose a time that fits your schedule, or participate in both sessions for additional international exposure.

All meetings will be designed to include facilitated conversations based on topics suggested by the members. The in-person/hybrid meetings will include a professional development segment presented by a well-known authority on topics relevant to members’ roles. Time will also be allocated for roundtable sharing among members on issues of particular interest to them. The hybrid roundtable meetings will be one day, plus a reception the night before or after the meeting. The Legal Pricing Roundtable hybrid meeting is held on the same day as the Legal Project Management Roundtable hybrid meeting, and the two groups share a reception. There is a significant overlap in membership between the two groups.
